Terms of Service
The terms that govern use of DogDog Checker, including credit packs, acceptable use, and the limits of a screening result.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and DogDog Checker ("DogDog", "we", "us") for the website at dogdogchecker.com, the checker console, and the API (the "Service"). By creating an account, running a check, or buying credits, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
DogDog Checker screens public web pages, prompts, images, and videos for categories that payment companies and content policies commonly restrict, including sexual content, celebrity likeness, and sexual content involving minors, and for restricted-business language relevant to payment acceptance.
A result is one of allow, block, or review, plus any findings we were able to produce. It is an application screening aid. It is not a legal opinion, a payment-processor decision, or a guarantee that a business will be approved or rejected. You are responsible for your own compliance, your payment-provider relationship, and what you publish.
Accounts
You must provide a working email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including API keys. Tell us at support@dogdogchecker.com if you believe the account is being misused.
We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that breaks these Terms, abuses the scanner, or creates risk for other users or for our providers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to harm, harass, or exploit anyone, or to create sexual content involving minors
- probe, scan, or attack systems you do not own, other than fetching public pages the Service is designed to read
- submit private-network, localhost, or non-public addresses
- overload the Service, bypass credit charges, or share API keys outside your team
- resell the Service without our written permission
- rely on a result as legal advice
We may drop or refuse a check that violates these rules. Credits already spent on a completed check are not returned except as the Refund Policy states.
Credits and payment
Checks spend credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Unused credits stay on the account until they expire under the pack rules shown at purchase, or until the account is closed.
Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Waffo (Waffo Pancake). Waffo's checkout terms apply to the payment itself. We grant credits after we receive a successful payment confirmation. A browser return from checkout is not, by itself, proof of payment.
Taxes may be added by the payment processor where the law requires them.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy. That policy is part of these Terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of the URLs, text, images, and video you submit. You give us a limited license to host, copy, and process that material only to run the check, store the result on your account, prevent abuse, and comply with law. Do not submit content you do not have the right to send to us.
We do not use your check content to advertise third-party products.
API
API keys are secrets. Calls are billed in credits to the key's owner. You must treat allowed in the response as the decision, not the HTTP status alone. We may change rate limits or response fields with notice on the documentation page when the change is material.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Models, crawls, and payment providers can fail or change. A "review" or error result means the check was incomplete or uncertain. Do not treat that as an allow.
Intellectual property
The DogDog Checker name, interface, and software are ours or our licensors'. These Terms do not give you any right in them other than the right to use the Service while you follow these Terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we disclaim any warranty that a result will match a payment provider's later decision.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for the loss of a payment-provider account. Our total liability arising out of the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for credit packs in that period.
Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law permits.
Indemnity
If a third party claims that your content or your use of the Service broke the law or these Terms, you will indemnify us against the resulting damages and reasonable legal costs, except to the extent we caused them.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top will change. If you keep using the Service after the new date, you accept the update. If you do not accept it, stop using the Service and write to us.
