Privacy Policy
How DogDog Checker collects, uses, and shares personal information, including analytics cookies and payments.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
This Privacy Policy describes how DogDog Checker ("DogDog", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use dogdogchecker.com, the checker console, and the related API (the "Service").
Who we are
DogDog Checker is a payment-compliance screening tool for developers. It checks public web pages, prompts, images, and videos for categories that payment providers and content policies commonly restrict. A result is a screening aid. It is not a legal opinion.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account data. Name, email address, password hash, and authentication identifiers when you create an account or sign in.
- Check content. URLs you submit, prompts, images, videos, optional notes, and the resulting decision, categories, and findings. History is stored on the account that ran the check.
- Billing data. The credit pack you buy, the amount, currency, order number, and payment status. Card numbers and full payment credentials are collected by our payment processor, not stored by us.
- Usage and device data. Pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, and the events described under Google Analytics below.
- Support messages. Whatever you send to support@dogdogchecker.com.
We do not ask you to submit private-network addresses. The site scanner fetches public pages only.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage for two purposes:
- Essential. A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is required for the console, billing, and API-key pages.
- Analytics. In production we use Google Analytics 4. Google may set cookies such as
_gaand_ga_<container>to distinguish browsers and to remember that a page view or event has already been measured. These cookies are not used to show ads.
You can block cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop the rest of the Service. You can also use Google's browser opt-out at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Analytics 4
On the production site we load Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-MHZGL8DYMF) with the gtag.js script. We use it to understand which pages are used and whether the product is working. We send:
page_viewwhen a page loads and when you move between pages in the appstart_checkwhen you start a scan or other checkselect_planwhen you choose a credit packbegin_checkoutwhen you start paymentpurchaseonce, after a successful payment, with the order value, currency, and transaction id
Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process this data as our analytics provider. Their terms are at https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not use Google Analytics to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell analytics data.
The tag is not loaded in local development.
Payments and Waffo
Credit packs are sold through Waffo (Waffo Pancake), our payment processor. When you pay, Waffo receives the information required to complete the charge, which can include your email address, billing country, the amount, and your payment method. Waffo handles card data. We receive the order result, amount, currency, and a transaction id so we can add credits to your account.
Waffo's own privacy notice applies to the data it collects on its checkout page. We do not control Waffo's retention of payment-instrument data.
Other processors
We also use infrastructure providers to host the Service, store the database, send email you request, and run the model that reviews check content. Those providers process data only so we can deliver the Service. Check content, including URLs and uploaded files, is sent to the model provider for the review you asked for.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and secure your account
- run checks and keep your history
- sell credit packs, grant credits, and prevent duplicate fulfillment
- answer support mail
- measure use of the site, as described above
- detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents
- comply with law
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Account data and check history stay until you delete the account or ask us to delete them, unless we must keep a record for tax, accounting, or fraud prevention. Order records are kept for as long as accounting rules require. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting.
Sharing
We share personal information with the processors above, with professional advisers when needed, and with authorities when the law requires it or when we must protect users from harm. If the business is sold, account and order records may transfer to the buyer under this policy.
International transfers
The Service is hosted on Cloudflare. Processors, including Google and Waffo, may store data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on their standard contractual protections for those transfers.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls on the database. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please use a unique password and tell us at support@dogdogchecker.com if you believe your account was accessed without permission.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email support@dogdogchecker.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. You can also stop analytics cookies as described above.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will also send a notice to the email on your account when we have one.
